A consultancy built for the engineering side of sustainability.
We started Sustain Urja on a simple premise: green building certification is a technical discipline, not a paperwork exercise. That premise still shapes how we staff, scope and deliver every engagement.
Our Story
Why we exist.
Sustain Urja was founded to close a gap we kept seeing on Indian construction sites: design teams with genuine sustainability ambition, and no dedicated technical partner to carry that ambition through documentation, review and certification.
We work across IGBC and LEED rating systems, energy and water audits, and ESG advisory — for developers building their first certified asset and for institutions managing government-scale infrastructure. In every case, our role is the same: translate design intent into documentation that a reviewer can approve without back-and-forth.
We are based in Jaipur, Rajasthan, and work with clients across India — from oil and gas operators to healthcare institutions and railway infrastructure projects.
